From our point of view, who belongs to the clan?

All who carry the name Idler as family name or as birth name. All who find the name Idler in their ancestor line and therefore feel belonging to the clan. Also guests are cordially welcome in our circle.

What it is about...

• We inform on request and free of charge the members of our clan known to us once a year with our Christmas letter about the family events and changes in the past year.

• We send out invitations to our events on request.

• Every 5 years we organize a big and hopefully international clan meeting in Strümpfelbach in Remstal.

• We update and complete our pedigrees and pedigrees with the data available to us.

• We cultivate the cohesion of the clan.

The community finances itself exclusively by voluntary donations and excludes therefore all commercial activities and political activities in principle. Any costs incurred for participation in the activities are borne by the members themselves.
The committee

The committee currently consists of eight active members from the clan, who determine and coordinate all activities. For some activities (e.g. the Grillfestle) the participants are asked to help actively. A member of the committee looks after our family books and trees.
